Nick DuPont is a Welding Instructor at Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba. He holds a Welding Certificate from Bay de Noc Community College (2009), an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Welding Technology from Ferris State University (2011), and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Welding Engineering Technology from Ferris State University (2013). Nick is also a certified welding inspector (CWI) through the American Welding Society (AWS) and holds a current non-destructive testing Level III certification through the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT) in the visual and optical method. Furthermore, he was formerly certified as a Level II inspector in magnetic particle testing and liquid penetrant testing in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A. Nick's work experience predominantly consists of Welding Engineering and NDT in the shipbuilding industry. However, his background also includes programing robotic welding cells, fabrication, and repair welding serving a variety of other industries
